Well, I was stupid enough to buy one and it has broken during the very first harving session, after getting about 200 of cotton (with exc cape). Absolutely not worth to buy, 6kgc went to the sink lol

Well, it depends on luck. With my first harvester medallion, I found approx. 2kgc and 40k of XP from blessings, the second one lasted three events. It's all about luck

One medallion is too little for statistics, try at least 10 of them, if all broke after double zero, then there is something wrong

Yes, I have given it a second chance, bought another one. If that one breaks soon I'll ask Entropy for refund ;-)

1 - ONLY use Harv Med during your xp time on a harv item. Using after you stop getting xp is only asking for it to break

2 - For best results, use it on a harv item with low events (flowers, not ores)

 

My current average per med is over 11k xp (based on Events and Breakages in Counters). I use it while harvesting tree shrooms for xp.

I don't get it. Isn't the chance for blessing and goldbags even either when getting experience or plain harvesting?

exactly, I had no events when harving tree mushrooms for xp, yet plenty while harving cotton

 

with the second medallion so far, 760 gp and zero xp

No xp or gold outside the xp range. I *think* you can still get rare stones (binding, nexus, whatever), but definitely no gold or xp

Chance for blessing only while you're getting EXP. Gold... Pretty sure whenever, but what he's saing is that during EXP session, you have chance for both. Plus, it's not about the gold bags, more about the exp.

I see I didn't know that you can be blessed only during experience time, that's really valuable information. Damn, I've been playing for almost two years, yet I'm still learning things

I am on my fourth now and when this one goes,l I will buy another.

First went after ~500gc and less than 10k exp

Second went zero and zero

Third went after ~1kgc and 15k exp

Current is at ~2kgc and 55k exp

The experience is the only important thing with the harv med and if you want to be able to get your owen dung for (eventual) use in tailoring, then you got to get the harv med and use it on the highest thing you can harvest. I use mine on cinnabar most hours

Its just plain wrong, that you cant get blessings or gold after you reached your harvesting limit.

 

I just had it on the PK server, harv limit reached and after that i found a bag of gold with 19 gc's.

i think that you are right for the gold, but i think i never had a single blessing when i didn't have harvest xp

Increased chance would be nice, but I doubt, it will happen. I mean, if you would find any stone by using this medallion, you would get more gold than you invested in medallion (apart from serpent stone of course). I know, that the chances are slim and the increase wouldn't be drastic, but still...

At least we have learn something new from this post - I haven't noticed that the xp events happen exclusively during first 120 attempts every hour. This is good thing to know, thanks!

 

So far no changes - I'm not having events at all while harving so on one hand no benefits, on the other hand the medallion hasn't been destroyed yet lol.

 

Update : Cruella was blessed by the Queen of Nature with 4460 worth of harvesting exp.

If you do a search, you will find muffossa did a test with 20 harvest medalions, and posted the results. Will give you a good understanding. I am too lazy to look it up, was about 8 maybe 10 months ago.
